Rainforest Adventure is a beautiful match-3 game. The objective of the game is to create matches of three or more pieces in a row by swapping adjacent pieces vertically and horizontally. When you make a match, the tile behind turns to gold, so to complete a level you must turn all tiles to gold. Also, when you make a match, those pieces disappear from the board and new ones cascade into empty spaces from the top of the board. Sometimes cascades cause chain reactions of matches and these give you bonus points. From time to time, you will be able to play bonus levels in which you must choose five tiles from the board to win points. What is more, there are lots of power-ups that can help you finish a level faster and more easily. Also, you will find special spaces that make the game more challenging and require you to make special matches in order to free them or be able to use them. You can find info on all power-ups and special spaces in the instructions.
Unfortunately, the game only includes one game mode, which is timed. You must complete the levels before the water reaches the end of the log. If you finish a level early, you also get bonus points.
Regarding the graphics, they are really colorful and attractive. Besides, sound effects are great and the music is very pleasant. In short, Rainforest Adventure is a beautiful match-3 game which doesn't offer anything new or impressive, but at least it is enjoyable and has nice graphics. |
